College football Saturdays just got a basketball shoe. Nike is giving the Air Foamposite Pro a school-spirit series, and the first two teams on the field are the LSU Tigers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. As Sneaker News reported, both pairs release November 5, 2026 for $250 at select retailers, on the same day as other NCAA-themed drops.
The "LSU Tigers" pair (IX2091-700) does not whisper. The molded shell is bright yellow with an all-over tiger-stripe pattern, wrapped in purple collars and a purple interior. LSU logos sit on the tongue and heel, and "Geaux Tigers" is printed on the heel tabs.
The "Ohio State" pair (IX2094-100) is the quiet one of the two. It's mostly white, with metallic red Swooshes and a subtle light-grey pattern of Buckeye leaves across the whole upper. A green Buckeye leaf lands on the heel and the school logo is on the tongue, which gives it a player-exclusive feel.
Our take: the LSU pair is the loudest Foamposite in a while, and that's a compliment. A tiger-striped yellow shell is exactly the kind of thing a Foamposite was built to carry. The Ohio State pair is the one you could actually wear on a Tuesday, as long as you're fine with people in Michigan gear giving you looks. At $250, they're for real fans, but the Foamposite has always been a commitment anyway.
