Most 10Ks give you traffic cones and a folding table of water cups. Nike's After Dark Tour gave London an airport. On Saturday night, October 17, the brand's women-focused nighttime race series rolled into East London with a sold-out 10K that sent runners across part of the runway at London City Airport, a strip of tarmac usually saved for planes, not race bibs. House of Heat had the full recap.
The course started and finished at Silverworks Island, then ran on closed roads through the Royal Docks, past Millennium Mills and along the waterfront before hitting the runway. It's a flat route built for fast times, but Nike treated the finish line like the main event: live DJs, athlete hosts, an expo, a retail setup and a post-race party once everyone was through.

After Dark launched in 2025 as Nike's modern spin on its long history with women's racing. According to House of Heat, the first season drew more than 50,000 women across seven races on five continents. Year two is another seven-city run: Shanghai, Sydney, Mexico City, London, Los Angeles, Manila and Mumbai.
Our take: this is the kind of brand move we actually like. It isn't a shoe launch wearing an event costume. It's an event good enough that people post it without being asked, and the photos back that up: pink kits, medals in teeth and a "Final Call for London's Fastest" sign at the start. Running past Millennium Mills and onto an airport runway at night beats chasing a PR on the same old park loop, and it's a lot easier to brag about at work on Monday. If an After Dark stop near you opens sign-ups, move fast. London sold out.
At ONENESS: We can't get you a bib, but we can handle the kit. The Nike Structure 26 is Nike's stability running shoe for the training miles, the Women's Nike ACG Dri-FIT High-Waisted 4" Trail Running Shorts are ready for race day, and the Women's Nike Zoom Vomero 5 "Rose Gold" is for the after-party. The rest is under Nike at ONENESS.
