Jordan Brand is saving one of its quieter Air Jordan 4s for Europe, and it lands on Halloween. The Air Jordan 4 "Light Army" (style JA5911-320) is a Europe-only release set for Saturday, October 31. Le Site de la Sneaker lists it at Nike's European store and JD Sports for €210 at 9 a.m. local time, which works out to 4 a.m. ET. Sneaker Bar Detroit also has it as an EU exclusive, with no U.S. release planned.

The official colorway is Light Army, Light Silver, Cargo Khaki and Phantom. In practice that means olive nubuck over almost the whole upper, light silver netting and eyelets, and a darker khaki midsole and outsole underneath it all. Off-white touches keep the tonal look from going flat, and the Jumpman on the tongue and heel keeps it unmistakably a 4.

This isn't a retro and it doesn't come from the archive. It's a new colorway, the kind of AJ4 Jordan Brand keeps adding to its lineup next to the big-name retros. Raffle trackers already list European shops like BSTN, Solebox and END., so plan on raffles more than a simple add-to-cart.

Our take: a Jordan 4 in army olive dropping on October 31 is the most low-effort Halloween costume ever made, and we mean that as a compliment. It's a fall shoe through and through and goes with cargos, workwear and pretty much anything olive you already own. The catch is that it's Europe-only, so U.S. fans will have to know somebody in London or Paris, or brace for resale prices.

At ONENESS: The "Light Army" is a European release and isn't stocked at ONENESS. Our current Jordan lineup lives under Jordan at ONENESS.
