LaMelo Ball has a new team, a new signature shoe and now a monster on the side of it. PUMA is putting together a Stranger Things collection for 'Melo that covers three of his shoes: the MB.06 (313625-01, Red/Purple), the LaFrance RNR (313928-01, Red/Purple) and the LaFrance (314660-01, Orange/Blue). According to Sole Retriever, all three drop Friday, November 6 through PUMA and select retailers, in-store and online. Prices haven't been announced.
The MB.06 gets the full Demogorgon treatment, with a scaly purple upper, a red tongue and a couple of tooth-filled mouths opening up across the side panels. It's gross in the best way. The LaFrance RNR, shown on foot up top, goes for cracked purple with hot pink laces. The regular LaFrance switches to orange and red with Upside Down vines printed all over, which fits LaMelo's whole "Not From Here" thing a little too well.
Our take: Stranger Things collabs have been done before, Nike's included, and Sole Retriever says PUMA is "taking a page from Nike's book" here. But the MB line has always been a little cartoonish, and that's why this works. A shoe with teeth on it would look silly on most signature lines. On LaMelo it looks like the plan all along. The timing helps too. 'Melo just moved to Minnesota, the MB.06 already had a Puerto Rico pair this summer and a "Hills" colorway this fall, and a November drop puts this one right at the start of the season.
The details: PUMA x LaMelo Ball x Stranger Things, MB.06 (313625-01), LaFrance RNR (313928-01) and LaFrance (314660-01), unisex sizing, prices TBD, November 6, 2026 through PUMA and select retailers, per Sole Retriever. PUMA hasn't posted the collection on its own channels yet.
