atmos is putting its glow-in-the-dark snake back on adidas, and this time it's on a racing shoe. Per Sole Retriever, which posted the official images today, the atmos × adidas Adizero Evo SL "G-SNK" pack lands in Japan through atmos online and in-store. atmos's own release puts the date at Friday, October 16, 2026 (Japan time); Sole Retriever lists October 15. It comes in two colorways, White (LC3794) and Black (LC3795), each at ¥20,900 (about $130).
G-SNK is the long-running atmos and adidas series built around snakeskin. The trick here is that the snakeskin only gets loud after dark. In daylight, the White pair is clean white mesh with scaly black three stripes stretched across the sidewall and onto the off-white Lightstrike Pro midsole. The Black pair goes further undercover: black upper, black stripes, black midsole, and a snake pattern you'd barely notice until the lights go out. Then both sets of stripes glow green. The campaign leans into that with dim rooms, wet floors and lit-up stripes, and it works. This is a shoe that wants you to stay out late after the run.
Update (October 14, 7:35 PM ET): atmos's official release on PR TIMES dates the drop Friday, October 16 in Japan, a day later than first reported. With the 13-hour time gap, that is still Thursday, October 15 in New York. Same two pairs, same ¥20,900. If you were planning to enter the atmos online raffle, it closes October 15 at 8:59 AM JST, so the snake is nearly out of the bag.
Our take: the Evo SL has become the default canvas for runner collabs. Sole Retriever points to recent takes from A Bathing Ape and The Whitaker Group, and Fullress first flagged a glow-in-the-dark G-SNK Evo SL back in August without a date. atmos doing it makes sense; the Tokyo shop has been putting its own spin on the three stripes for years, and G-SNK is its signature move. The Black pair is the sleeper. It looks like a plain inline pair in the office and a glow stick at the afterparty, which is roughly the whole point of a G-SNK pair.
