Shai Gilgeous-Alexander opens the season against the Spurs, and Converse has new colors waiting for him. Sneaker News has official images of the Converse SHAI 001 Lace Up in two "Fever Dream" looks, "White/Fever Dream" and "Black/Fever Dream," and both are listed on overseas calendars for November 5.
The setup works like the earlier "Shock" and "Spark" pair, which flipped between yellow-on-white and green-on-black. This time one shoe is white and one is black, and both get a fire red collar and trim. Per Sneaker News, the red runs down the lace unit and wraps the top of the tongue before splitting off. Veneda Carter, a familiar face around the Swoosh, was the first to show both colorways in a care package with the "Creamsicle," but she didn't show the heel, so people wondered if these would show up as Nike Shai 001s instead. The official shots answer that: the Converse star badges are on the back.

Sneaker News says both pairs are listed overseas for November 5, 2026 in adult and grade school sizes. Converse hasn't shared a US date or price yet, so treat that date as the overseas one for now.
Our take: white with a red collar is a clean way to wear a signature shoe without looking like you're about to check in at the scorer's table. The black pair is the one that'll hide the post-game pizza grease. And it's funny that a care package photo with no heel shot had people arguing about logos for days. One picture of the star badge settled it.
At ONENESS: the "Fever Dream" pairs aren't out yet and aren't in our lineup, but Converse is. The Chuck Taylor All Star First String Hi in "Black" Leather and the First String Hi in "Optical White" Croc cover both sides of the black-and-white thing, and the Converse University of Kentucky Basketball Denim Jersey keeps it on the court. The rest is under Converse at ONENESS.
