Aimé Leon Dore is back with round two of fall. The Queens label's Fall/Winter 2026 Delivery 2 launches today, Friday, October 9, at 11 a.m. ET on aimeleondore.com and in its flagship stores, and the brand describes it as military and workwear references seen through a New York lens. In plain terms: heavy coats, serious boots, and enough wool to survive a February on Queens Boulevard.
The New Balance angle is where it gets fun. Per Hypebeast, the drop brings back the ALD x New Balance T500 in "Chocolate Truffle" and "Laurel Oak," and adds a blue-and-yellow ALD x New Balance Gator. ALD's own lookbook puts that Gator on foot under grey wool trousers and a navy "Leon Dore NYC '86" zip, which is about as on-brand as a sneaker cameo gets. Blue and yellow on a low-slung runner reads more like a 1970s track team than a 2026 hype release, and that's the point.
The clothes carry the rest. ALD's highlights include the NY Highlanders wool tote bag, a Team Aimé hockey jersey, the new Field Boot, and a patchwork knit chore jacket. Hypebeast adds a napa leather bomber, a down-filled surplus parka, a shearling biker vest, a quilted trucker, and a GORE-TEX down fishtail parka in "Jet Black" and "Thyme." The Field Boot is made in Italy from calfskin on a Vibram lug sole.
Our take: ALD doesn't really do loud, and this delivery is no exception. It's the brand doing what it does best, making a closet look like it was collected over twenty years instead of bought in one afternoon. The Gator is the quiet scene-stealer. If you've been waiting for a New Balance collab that doesn't need a grey suede explainer, this is it. Set an alarm for 11 a.m. ET, because ALD releases have a habit of selling the good sizes before your coffee finishes.
