New Balance has been teasing the 990v7 sideways for weeks — a Chinatown mini-billboard, a Tokyo festival display, and now the cleanest look yet: brand ambassador Rosalía jogging through Manhattan in the unreleased Made in USA pair, per Sneaker News.
There still aren't official on-white product shots, so these street frames are doing the heavy lifting. Sneaker News reads the silhouette as a clear step from the 990v6: a bigger mudguard, an "N" sized somewhere between the v6 and older editions like the v3, underlays that sit closer to the quarter, and a grey suede launch colorway with a little pre-aged treatment on the branding and midsole. Underfoot, they flag softer FuelCell foam plus the usual stability kit (CR device, ENCAP, and a new TPU shank plate).
No release date or retail price yet. If you've been squinting at leaky festival photos and ragebait billboards, Rosalía basically just answered the group chat — yes, it's real, yes, it still looks like a 990, and no, you still can't buy it this afternoon.

The details: New Balance 990v7 (Made in USA), grey suede launch look, worn by Rosalía in NYC. Release date and price TBA.
