Nike and the Virgil Abloh Foundation just put a date on the next chapter of Virgil Abloh: The Codes. Per Nike's newsroom, the exhibit lands at The Shed in New York City from December 10, 2026 through January 18, 2027, with tickets opening to the public on October 23 via TheShed.org.

Nearly 1,000 objects from the Virgil Abloh Archive are headed into the show — finished work next to prototypes, sketches and raw files — covering fashion, footwear, art, architecture, graphic design and music. Nike frames it as a deep look at Abloh's long partnership with the brand and the design methods that sat under the Off-White quotes and the "The Ten" era. Sole Retriever notes a working recreation of his Paris office and a gallery merch set curated by JJJJound founder Justin Saunders, after earlier Codes runs in Miami (2022) and Paris (2025).

Our take: Abloh already rewired how sneakers talk to fashion. Putting a thousand pieces of that process in one New York room, with the office computer still open, is the closest thing to a studio visit most of us will ever get. October 23 is the ticket day — set a reminder before the queue bots do.

At ONENESS: This is an exhibit, not a drop, but Abloh's Nike and Jordan work still sits at the center of what we cover. Browse Nike at ONENESS and Jordan at ONENESS.
