Anthony Edwards' third adidas signature shoe just picked up its spookiest colorway yet. Per House of Heat, the adidas AE 3 "Omen" (KJ3021) releases Friday, October 23 at adidas.com and select retailers. Adult pairs are $130, and kids' sizes are set for $100.
It's one of the brightest AE 3s so far. The textile upper is a vivid red, while black takes over the tongue, laces, lining and collar. Silver covers the model's sculpted side structure, so the AE 3's chevron-style molded panels really pop against the red. There's reflective material around the toe that lights up under a flash, black adidas branding on the heel and a light grey rubber outsole keeping things calm underneath.

The "Omen" keeps up a busy early run for the AE 3, which already gave us the "Snow Camo" pair earlier this month.
Our take: red and silver on that aggressive shape makes the AE 3 look like something you'd find in a sci-fi villain's garage, and that's a compliment. Dropping it the Friday before Halloween is good timing, and $100 for kids' sizes means the youngest Ant fans can be menacing too. Our only concern is that a shoe this red is going to make every sock in your drawer feel underdressed.
At ONENESS: The AE 3 isn't stocked at ONENESS right now. Our current adidas lineup lives under adidas at ONENESS.
