Update, October 16: Lapstone & Hammer has posted the full game plan. The 7UICE x BAPE STA "Black/Kelly Green" goes on sale in-store at 10 AM ET on Saturday, October 17 at the shop's 1106 Chestnut St. location in Philadelphia, and the event runs until 5 PM. Meet-and-greet wristbands go out first come, first served, and only to people who buy the shoe, and the shop is clear that buying a pair doesn't guarantee one. Before the VIP line, Brown is giving pairs, autographs and photos to 20 local kids picked as "most improved players" from Philadelphia Youth Basketball and the Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia. 7UICE hoodies and tees plus Set Free's The Compound x Jaylen Brown New Era hats release alongside the shoe, and Lapstone says all proceeds benefit the 7uice Foundation. Online follows on Sunday, October 18, only at 7uiceshop.com. Price still hasn't been announced.

Lapstone also bills this as Brown's first public appearance as a 76er, which means some Philly fans will be meeting a guy they spent years booing in green, now selling them a shoe with green piping. Sports are healing. The practical read: get there early, buy the shoe, grab the wristband if there's one left, then come back at the time the shop gives you instead of camping on Chestnut all afternoon.

Jaylen Brown's 7UICE label is officially in the BAPE STA club. The 7UICE x A Bathing Ape BAPE STA debuts in person on Saturday, October 17 at Lapstone & Hammer in Philadelphia, where Brown is set to host a meet-and-greet from 1 to 5 PM, and then goes online through 7UICE's own site on Sunday, October 18. Per Sneaker News, early arrivals get the first shot at the meet and a pair, and House of Heat reports quantities are limited with no restock planned.

The shoe sticks to the BAPE STA's most reliable formula: black patent leather, a bright white STA star, then green piping running around the whole thing so it reads as 7UICE and not just another black STA. A co-branded "7uice" stamp on the heel finishes it off. It's simple, it's loud in the right places, and like any patent pair it will show every fingerprint, so budget a little time for wiping it down like a new phone screen.

This one has been a while coming. Back at All-Star Weekend in 2024, BAPE made Brown a one-of-one chromed-out STA. Two years later he gets a full release with his own name on the heel. 7UICE has also worked with Vanson Leathers, Namesake and Timberland, so BAPE is a pretty natural next step for a label that keeps leaning further into fashion.
