The fuzzy one is coming back. Nike is bringing back the Air Max Goadome "Black Pony Hair" (IO4635-001), with a release expected October 29 at $230, per Sneaker News. The pair first dropped during the Goadome's Winter 2025 run, sold out fast and has had a steady resale life ever since, which is about all the reason Nike needs for a quick return.
Not much has changed, and that's the point. It's black on black from top to bottom: black pony hair over the classic Goadome boot shape, a thin white outline Swoosh as the only bit of contrast, and clear Air cushioning under a lugged black outsole. Sneaker News says the 2026 pair stays true to last year's, and the new images back that up. It also fits a bigger picture. The Goadome is in its second straight winter as a top priority for Nike, between the Foamdome Low and the croc-skin Goadome Low pairs that have been rolling out all season.

Our take: this is a winter boot dressed like a very expensive dog, and we mean that as a compliment. Plain black Goadomes are everywhere every November. The pony hair is what makes this one look like it belongs on a night out instead of a construction site. People who missed it last year now get a second shot without paying resale. Just keep it out of slush if you can. Wet pony hair is not a good look on anyone.
