Update, October 15: The full lineup is out, and it's tonight. HUF Japan now confirms the huf® x Dickies® capsule goes on sale Friday, October 16 at 10:00 AM Japan time (Thursday, October 15 at 9:00 PM ET) at huf® stores and hufworldwide.jp. Per an updated Fullress report, it's four pieces: a cotton canvas Painter Jacket with a contrast collar and padded lining (¥34,980), a Cargo Utility Pant with big side cargo pockets and a leg that widens toward the hem (¥24,970), a Logo Thermal (¥14,960) and a Logo Knit Beanie (¥6,985). Basically a full skate-shop uniform in one drop. The lookbook is below. Still no US date.
HUF is back in the workwear aisle. On October 11, HUF Japan posted a teaser with one short line: "huf® X Dickies® coming this Friday." According to Fullress, the Fall/Winter 2026 capsule drops Friday, October 16, at 10:00 AM Japan time (that's Thursday, October 15, at 9:00 PM ET) at HUF and on Rakuten Fashion.
The teaser looks the part. Someone is working on a motorcycle in a garage, wearing a black top with the classic Dickies horseshoe logo stacked over a big huf wordmark across the back. There's a tiger-stripe camo piece spread out on the concrete. Fullress says the collection takes its cues from '90s skate culture and the American shopping mall. If you grew up when a pair of Dickies 874s and a skate shop tee was basically a uniform, you already get it.
When the teaser first landed, HUF hadn't shared the lineup or prices. Now it has (see the update above). There's still no US date, and the only stockists named are in Japan.
Our take: these two belong together. Dickies has made workwear in Texas since 1922, and skaters took over its pants long before any brand asked them to. HUF came out of Keith Hufnagel's San Francisco skate shop. HUF's own Japan archive shows it has worked with Dickies before, in 2022 and 2023, so this is a reunion, not a blind date. It also keeps HUF's busy fall going after Three 6 Mafia, TAION and Toyota. A garage, a motorcycle and a horseshoe logo is a strong opening. And now that we've seen the pants, they're wide, brown and very 1997, which is exactly right.
