Deion Sanders' first sneaker just got a family heirloom. Well Off Forever, the brand behind Deion Sanders Jr.'s Well Off Media, has its own Nike Air DT Proto '92 in "White/Black" (style JF7593-100), and it's expected on Nike.com Monday, November 30.
From across the room it reads like a clean, era-correct retro: white leather, black overlays, a gold-tan mesh window and that big hook-and-loop strap across the forefoot. Pull the strap back and you get the real story. Embroidered on the velcro is "The Rejected Will Be Respected," the motto Bucky made famous and Coach Prime has carried into his own programs. The gold OW crown logo from Well Off Forever sits on the heel, and a gold "Prime" hang tag swings off the laces as a nod to the Sanders family's Prime Closet. Nike also packs in an extra set of laces.

Our take: this is the best kind of hidden detail. Nobody on the sideline is going to read your strap, but you'll know it's there, which is the whole point of a motto. The white and black base is also the most wearable DT Proto we've seen in this run, a lot easier to style than the loud "Prime Red" Atlanta pair. If Nike keeps it around the $180 mark, it's a fair price for a shoe with this much family lore stitched into it. Just don't let the hang tag smack your shin on the walk to the car.
At ONENESS: the DT Proto isn't in our lineup yet, but Nike is. Browse the full Nike collection, and catch up on the Atlanta-only Nike Air DT Proto 92 "Prime Red" from earlier this month.
