New Balance and Tokyo label emmi just put a date on a quiet Minimus flex. Fullress reports the New Balance for emmi MT10O6WL "Black" lands in Japan on October 14 and 15 for ¥18,920, with USAGI ONLINE opening at noon on the 14th and Rakuten Fashion in the mix. Official lookbook frames show the black pair under a pleated skirt and embroidered fleece — more fall outfit than trail catalog.
The MT10 sits in New Balance's Minimus line: low stack, close-to-ground feel, natural foot motion. For emmi, that base gets a full special-order treatment — autumn-ready suede, glossy webbing tape for a little shine inside the heaviness, black main laces with a brown option in the box, plus stomping on the tongue and insole as the accent. It is the kind of collab that reads like wardrobe hardware, not a logo stunt.

Our take: emmi has a habit of making performance silhouettes look like they belong next to a skirt, and this MT10 is peak that energy. Black suede plus shiny tape is a small flex that will photograph better than another grey trainer. Japan-only window for now — if you live for low-profile fall shoes, October 14 is the alarm.
Update, October 12: Set the alarm for tomorrow night. Per Fullress, USAGI ONLINE opens sales of the New Balance for emmi MT10O6WL "Black" at 12:00 noon Japan time on Wednesday, October 14, which is 11:00 PM ET on Tuesday, October 13. Rakuten Fashion is also on the list, and the in-store run follows October 14 and 15. The price is still ¥18,920. It's a Japan-only release and ONENESS isn't stocking this pair, but the rest of our New Balance lineup is a click away. Black suede, shiny tape, a spare pair of brown laces: the most polite minimalist shoe you'll ever stay up late for.
